"Wake up."

The little girl slowly opened her eyes.
"Wha..what...?"

"Wake up, my child."

The little girl opened her eyes fully. She can see the blue of the sky, as it blends softly with the sun.

She is lying down, motionless.

She begins to try and stand. It's hard for her, since it feels like there is almost no solid ground.

It's almost like...she's floating. In the air.
And we are right. She is floating in the air. Can you see the clouds around her? They are quite beautiful.

She looks around, wondering nervously where she is. Where am I? Why do I feel so warm? It feels like I can fly.

A very simple picture for those who perished in the deadly shooting in Connecticut. 20 elementary aged children were shot and killed. Their only crime being at school. My heart goes out to their families as do the hearts of thousands across US and the world.
